The project aims to jointly develop 4 accessibility solutions, pilot them and implement in 11 Estonian-Latvian military heritage tourism sites in the programme area to improve the existing Military Heritage tourism product militaryheritagetourism.info accessibility for different social groups: school-aged youth and people with visual, mobility, and anxiety restrictions, and to carry out joint targeted marketing.
The project will improve the Estonian-Latvian Military Heritage Tourism Product by implementing accessibility solutions, incorporating accessibility information in marketing materials, and encouraging uptake of accessibility solutions across the Military Heritage tourism network sites. The outputs include tailored content for school-aged youth delivered through interactive and digital formats, and audio/video/augmented reality solutions for individuals with visual impairments, reduced mobility, and claustrophobia.
Total project budget is 1 423 322,00 EUR. Co-funding of European Regional Development Fund is 1 138 657,60 EUR.
